On September 14th, Defensores de la Cuenca hosted their third annual Latin@/e Leadership Summit at Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion.
Latin@/e and Spanish-speaking leaders from the Chesapeake Bay watershed gathered to support each other's efforts to engage in nature and the environment.
Thank you to everyone that attended our third Annual Latin@/e Leadership Summit! We enjoyed spending a day with our partners, co-workers, volunteers, and making new connections with those working to defend the Chesapeake Bay & its watersheds throughout the DMV area & beyond. Thank you to all the panelists for sharing about their expertise & experiences with participants. We are already looking forward to our next summit!
